Since our founding in 1808, education has been a key part of our mission.

We were the founder of one of the first pediatric residencies in the country and were the site of New Jersey's First Academic Medical University

Today we are the major teaching hospital in Hudson County and are a core teaching affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine providing health professions with the finest educational experience available.
